In my studies i have come across research into the use of the ovum's of "pig whip worms" ingested by the patient, once a month. A recent study showed the results of 29 patients, of which 26 were free of Crohn's after 6 months. I do not know of any recurrence statistics, or if any research is ongoing, but it may be worth looking into.
